Pure Opulence Day Spa owners/sisters Kelly and Jade always wanted to go into business together. After Kelly graduated her advanced diploma in beauty therapy back in 2007 and working in various salons both around Nelson and overseas, Jade decided to study commerce so they could make it happen.

In 2017, Jade graduated her bachelor of commerce (majoring in Accounting & Marketing) as well as her very first nail qualification through Star Nail International in 2013 - giving the sisters everything they needed to bring their dream to fruition. The sisters were set to open their Day Spa in 2020, and despite a global pandemic throwing a spanner in the works Pure Opulence Day Spa was born.

Today....

Since opening its doors, Pure Opulence Day Spa has earned multiple awards and become one of the most sought-after destinations for luxury beauty treatments. Renowned for both its high-end services and its warm, highly skilled team, the spa offers an experience that is as welcoming as it is indulgent.

Founders Kelly and Jade subtly infuse their Tahitian heritage into the spa’s serene atmosphere, creating a unique blend of Polynesian warmth and French sophistication. Signature treatments like Tahitian Tranquility and Escape to Paris reflect this cultural connection—Tahiti, after all, is part of French Polynesia. The spa is scented with Tahitian vanilla candles, and clients enjoy skincare products from Sothys, a prestigious French brand commonly used in Tahitian spas.

What began as a dream shared by two sisters has grown into a thriving team of eight professionals, including three beauty therapists, two nail technicians, a salon assistant, a professional body piercer, and a qualified cosmetic nurse/injector.
